The event is called New Years Day Scramble and is scheduled to begin on Thursday 1st January 2026. The format is non-acceptable Mixed Texas Scramble Strokeplay. It is a members' competition, but 1 guest per team is allowed, please contact the Golf Office. The men will play the Gainsborough 2017 18H course off the Orange M tees. The ladies will play the Gainsborough 2017 18H course off the Purple L tees.
10am Shotgun start.
Maximum Handicap Index 54.0. Handicap Allowance 25% + 20% + 15% + 10% from Lowest to Highest Course Handicap. Men’s card for scoring.
All players must have 12 qualifying scores listed on their playing record in the last 12 months prior to the competition, to win a prize.
Entry Fee £16.00 per team
Prizes – First three places depending on entry numbers.
Playing Procedure: - Pay entry fee in Pippins shop by card prior to start of round; Sign In on a PSI or mobile phone app prior to play; Score Entry returned immediately via PSI or mobile phone app on completion of your round.
Results will be announced as soon as possible after the competition.
