The Alf Bruce Senior Open is open to members and visitors aged 55 and over.

This competition serves as a qualifying medal from the white tee.

The competition format is individual stroke play, with a 95% handicap allowance.

The playing handicap limit is 24. Those with a playing handicap of 25 or higher may still enter but will play off a maximum playing handicap of 24.

Entries will open at 8:00 AM on February 1st 2026. CDH ID will be required.

Each competitor must select a preferred time zone. To ensure fairness, no more than two competitors from the same golf club will be placed together.

Entry fees are £20.00 for members and £30.00 for visitors.

Openplay members are NOT eligible to enter.

The draw will be announced at least 21 days before the day. The final update will be announced at least 2 days before the day.

PRIZES

Scratch prizes will be awarded to the top three.

Handicap voucher prizes will be awarded to the top three in the following age groups: 55 to 62, 63 to 69, and 70 and above.

The trophy of Alf Bruce Senior Open will be awarded to the competitor with the lowest net score, along with the overall handicap voucher prize.

The best prize will be allocated per competitor.

Additional individual prizes on the course will be determined by the Pro Shop.
