The event is called Mixed Charity Open and is scheduled to begin on Saturday 15th August 2026. The format is non-acceptable Mixed Betterball Stableford. It is an open competition, visitors are allowed to enter. The men will play the Lakeland / Parkland course off the Yellow (Men) tees. The ladies will play the Lakeland / Parkland course off the Red (Ladies) tees.
COMPETITION: 4 Person Team Betterball Stableford (best two scores per hole) [3 Person Teams can enter but will be disadvantaged].
DATE: 15th August 2026
FORMAT: Non-acceptable, team Betterball Stableford
COURSE: Men Lakeland/Parkland, Yellow tees. Woman Lakeland/Parkland Red Tees
ENTRY FEES: £17.50 for members; £42.00 for visitors. This includes a coffee and bacon bap before playing, prizes and a contribution to the captains charity.
HANDICAP: Playing Handicap = 85% Course Handicap. No max Playing Handicap.
PRIZES: In one division only.
SIGN IN: Before scheduled tee time using Clubhouse PSI Terminal or HDID.
SCORE ENTRY: Enter scores asap after the round using Clubhouse PSI Terminal or HDID.
SCORECARD: MUST include ALL players and markers names, Course Handicaps and Gross Scores. Please also include Handicap index’s, Playing Handicaps, and Stableford scores. Card must be checked and signed by both the marker and one of the players. The card must then be placed in the competition box by the PSI terminal even if the round isn't completed.
DQ: Please note that failure to: pay full entry fees beforehand, sign in before play, correctly complete the scorecard or promptly enter scores afterwards will result in disqualification.

Please ensure that bunkers are left raked, which are 'in play' unless notified to the contrary on the notice board.
Please always AVOID SLOW PLAY by playing 'READY GOLF' and keeping up with the group in front. Please let quicker groups through.
