Players must be a member of an Affiliated Golf Club. Maximum handicap of 11.0. Handicap Allowance 95% for nett prizes. round 2 tee times will follow 5 hours from round 1 time. Played from the white tees. All winners must have played a minimum of 3 qualifying rounds in the previous 12 months, all of which must be from club competitions..

Payment
Payment will be taken at the time of booking (GBP). To book a tee time online you will have to enter your credit or debit card details using our secure on line payment process. You should print off or make a note of your booking reference as this will be required on your arrival at the Club.

Refund / Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your booking by contacting Workington Golf Club by email, comps@workingtongolfclub.com or telephone, 01900603460. Please remember your booking details will be required to confirm the cancellation.
Full payment will be taken at the time of booking. No refunds will be given for player cancellation or non-attendance.

Failure to Cancel Your Booking
If you fail to cancel your booking, there will be a charge of 100% of the green fee made to your credit/debit card.

Course Closed
If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed (e.g. adverse conditions), we will be happy to re-book or offer a full refund.

Booking Transferable
The Booking is completely Transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend.

Handicaps
All players are required to hold a WHS Handicap Index.

Dress Code
On the course:
Any clothing or shoes that are sold as golfing attire is acceptable on the course. Blue jeans, shell suits, tracksuits, non-golfing leggings, football/rugby type shirts, non-golfing collarless or sleeveless shirts and training shoes are all unsuitable attire and are not to be worn on the course.
Tailored shorts are allowed.
Golf shoes must be worn on the golf course and plastic cleats are preferred.

In the clubhouse:
Smart casual dress is acceptable.
Golf shoes are not allowed, and shoes should be worn at all times.
Hats / caps etc. to be removed unless worn for religious reasons.
The club reserves the right to ask any member or visitor to leave the course or clubhouse should they be deemed to be unsuitably dressed.

Mobile Devices
Mobile phones must be switched to silent on the golf course for use in limited circumstances only. Under no circumstances should the use of a mobile phone be a distraction, nuisance, or irritation to any other individual.

Spikes
Soft spikes are preferred on the course.
